In the paper a new method of multivariable predictive functional control for time-delayed systems is presented. The main advantage of predictive approach is that also multivariable plants with time delay can be very easily handled. The algorithm of the proposed multivariable predictive functional control is developed and stability and design issues are discussed. The multivariable predictive control is implemented on the thermodynamical plant. In addition to having time delays the plant was excessively noise corrupted due to the humidity sensor. Nevertheless, the pro posed MPFC gave good results.
