argument reduction, data mining, evolutionary algorithm
Argument reduction methods of decision tables based on combinatorial algorithms are described in this paper. With the help of these methods, reduction in the size of decision tables can be achieved. A software tool for classification a problem is presented in this article. This tool has a hybrid structure which consists of proposed reduction strategies mixed with the classical decision rules generator based on genetic algorithms. This tool achieves significant benefits from argument reduction during the analysis process of data dependencies
