Gas turbine, Modeling and simulation, Wood Residues.
This paper deals with the analysis of an indirectly fired gas turbine for the wood residue by developing a computer code, which was based on the modeling of system components. The effects of the regenerator effectiveness, the isentropic efficiencies of the compressor and the turbine on the gas turbine performances were taken into account. The working fluid was considered as an air-standard Brayton cycle. Simulation examples were accomplished in order to prove the effectiveness of the present work in model prediction of wood residue indirectly fired gas turbine behaviaor.
