induction motor, parameters identification, numerical methods, model indetermination
A method is presented for the numerical identification of parameters which are relevant to the dynamic analysis (time evolution) of induction machines. The data identification starts from the knowledge of the machine data-sheet, where integral quantities, such as rated quantities, maximum and starting currents and torques are listed. An analytical procedure is described that allows to deduce the equivalent circuit parameters of the machine. The notorious indetermination of the five-parameters circuit is demonstrated, and a proposal to overcome it by a six-parameters circuit-based methodology is made.
