Analysis and design, modelling and simulation, multiplemodel LQ control, hierarchical control.
Hierarchical two-level control scheme is introduced. One level provides fast computation for the decentralized con trol scheme while the other level implements a central ized controller. This controller is designed so that it sta bilizes the plant even if a random delay is present. The multiple-model LQ control is used in this level. The re sults are demonstrated by an example.
