Abstract

This paper presents the preliminary results in the development of a framework for ubiquitous data collection together with a real-time augmented reality system for use with children with autism and other disabilities. The system aims at enabling mobile input and access trail data at any time and location by means of a PDA device with wireless connections. While teachers working on a child, parents can monitor the learning and training process through the augmented reality system with a head mounted device or a 3D display.
