Questionnaire survey, collaborative work, university professors, course production, course material, teaching.
This paper presents the results of a questionnaire-based survey on collaborative work between university professors. Fifty-six professors, 31 from Canada (27 from Quebec and 4 from Ontario) and 25 from Brazil, completed a questionnaire that was valid. Our goal was to discover how they collaborate together on course-related tasks in order to better support them. Main results show that the professors collaborate together for different course activities, they are part of small groups and assume different roles in them, they very often are already acquainted with the group members, and they have many more positive than negative comments about collaboration in course production.
