This article presents a study about suitable architectures to support virtual environment distribution in multidisciplinary learning projects. Different distribution platforms have been evaluated, through parameters such as scalability and latency, in order to identify the most efficient one in supporting real time distribution. The photosynthesis phenomenon has been chosen as a case study. Results of undertaken experiments show a good performance of the proposed architecture.
