Optical code division multiple access (OCDMA), fiber Bragg grating (FBG), superstructured fiber Bragg grating (SSFBG)
We propose a two-dimensional temporal/wavelength optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) encoder/decoder, which has an array of superstructured fiber Bragg gratings (SSFBGs). SSFBGs in an encoder/decoder have different wavelengths from each other and are coded with the orthogonal OCDMA. Simulation was performed to analyze the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
