Abstract

This paper presents a software system that uses the latest Internet technology to create a social network among students. The Internet social network comprises students as nodes and establishes sharing relationships among students through actions. The system actions carried out by individual students and the reactions from others constitute interactions in the social networks. These include the adding, enquiring and sharing of tagged slides, personal notes and clickstreams, etc. This results in the creation of a culture that students co-learn together by sharing knowledge and their understanding of the concepts through the Internet platform.
