Abstract

The remote laboratory NetLab has been developed at the University of South Australia (UniSA) within the School of Electrical and Information Engineering (EIE). A fully functional system has been used by up to 200 students every year to conduct remote experiments since 2003. UniSA has a well-defined teaching and learning framework structure. The framework is structured around the concepts of student centred learning, graduate qualities and flexible delivery. This framework is built upon an intention to produce students with particular seven [1] qualities in flexible student centred teaching and learning environments. This paper describes The NetLab contribution to the UniSA’s teaching and learning environments that supports student centred learning.. This contribution is demonstrated by a NetLab remote experiment.
