Abstract

This paper presents an approach for probabilistic power flow computation with the convolution method. This an alytic method allows including arbitrary shaped density functions with a high accuracy. Furthermore a special approach for handling correlated input variables is intro duced, which is essential for similar types of nodal powers. The power flow equation is linearised with respect to the voltage angles leading to a d.c. load flow equation. The density function of the line currents and the annual loss en ergy can then be acquired from the probabilistic power flow computation.
