Simulation, environmental and socio-economic applications, systems policies and models
This paper discusses the main elements of greenhouse gases emissions trading process with policies and management models that enable the reduction of negative effects of global warming. We review and discuss targeted greenhouse gases emissions for the main players of the Kyoto protocol (five countries) and the emissions projections of these countries for 2020. We analyze the existing emissions trading programs, mechanisms, policies and models to manage greenhouse gases emissions trading. We propose a simulation approach for a conceptual design of systems for management of the emission trading process at national and international levels.
