The Study of TAM Model for College Students in using Intentions and Affecting Factors on e-Learning System

Abstract

The purpose of study was to understand the inclinations for those students who use E-Learning courses in National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. To analyze the influence factors affecting students’ inclinations, and the results caused by various background factors of the data. The data collected by judgment sampling, which the students taking the E-Learning courses at first term in the academic 2006-year. The study was conducted by means of delivering questionnaires. Data were collected in using judgment sampling, in taking the E-Learning courses. The total amount of completed ones was 623, and all were classified valid. The statistical analyses were made via Descriptive Statistics, t-test, one-ANOVA. The derived results were: 1.Views of students in NYUST on E-Learning ability, E-Learning environment, Systematic Platform, Teaching Material Characteristic. The figures in E-Learning ability are shown satisfactory, whereas those in other parameters are ‘moderate or upper’. 2. Views on every factor which is significantly different among students with different backgrounds in NYUST. 3. Within external parameters, the influence of E-Learning ability does not influence the Cognitive Usefulness, whereas other factors demonstrate significant differences. In this study, suggestions were provided for organization of administration and institutes of technological and vocational education.
