Adaptive system has a self-learning and adaptive capacity when it is operating. Controlling rules can be changed by training so as to improve performance. This paper attempts to bring about a self-learning control approach on Fengyun antenna system. A new antenna tracking model was built by analyzing tracking datum of the satellite movement. The new tracking approach is in simulation. There are some advantages by using adaptive searching algorithm in service operation of Fengyun antenna if the new tracking approach is going to use in project, moreover it will enhance the stability of the system in practice.
