Biomechanics, Porcine bladders, Experiments, Hyperelasticity.
The aim of this paper is to identify the mechanical behaviour of vesical tissue using experimental measurements. Mechanical tests are done on porcine bladders filling them with water up to given pressures. Inner bladder volumes are measured for several pressure values and the relationship between pressure and volume is confronted with theoretical hyperelastic model. In model the deformation is assumed to be radial and the elastic potential is chosen as an Ogden incompressible material with restricted numbers of parameters.
