This paper describes a case study and additional consid erations about implementing mixed discrete-event and continuous-time models into real-time embedded systems. The modelling environment has been a general-purpose multi-domain modelling tool. The implementation process gives special attention to optimized scheduling in the dif ferent domains, buffer handling and consumption of time and memory. Further improvements are discussed too.
