Web-based education, Distant Education Platform, elearning.
Development and present state of modern teaching based on Distant Education Platform at Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland will be presented. The authors discuss general framework concerning DEP and present the ideas of DEP-based knowledge delivery. Application of the Platform for assessment program has been thorougly discussed. Permanent redevelopment of ecourses is based on feedback obtained from all the users of the DEP – teachers, students and PhD students. Numerous results of users’ surveys have been presented in the paper.
